Stored on your device
Transactions, budgets, categories, and preferences remain in local app storage.
Private by architecture
X Money Wallet is a paid, local-only personal expense and budget tool. No account, no cloud, and no hidden data trail.
A / PRINCIPLES
The simplest privacy model is not collecting the data in the first place. X Money Wallet is designed around that idea.
Transactions, budgets, categories, and preferences remain in local app storage.
There is no account, sign-in, profile, or bank connection.
No advertising SDKs, analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels, or developer-set tracking cookies.
Data leaves the app only when you deliberately export it through the system share sheet.
This Privacy Policy applies to the X Money Wallet mobile application (the “App”) and this support website. The App is a paid, offline-first personal bookkeeping and budgeting tool. Its Android package ID and Apple bundle ID are com.mike.johnson.xmoneywallet.
The App does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share your personal or financial information. It has no developer-operated account system, backend server, bank connection, advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking.
Transactions, account labels, budgets, categories, notes, preferences, and other content you enter are stored in the App's private local storage on your device. X Money Wallet does not provide cloud sync or automatic cloud backup and the developer cannot see or recover this content.
The Android app disables backup and device transfer for its sandbox. On iOS, the App creates its working-data directories and marks them excluded from backup. Files that you deliberately export are separate copies handled by the destination you choose.
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not connect to banks, card issuers, payment accounts, or financial institutions. You enter and manage records yourself.
If you enable app locking, biometric authentication is performed entirely by your operating system. X Money Wallet receives only the success or failure result; it never receives, stores, or transmits your fingerprint, face scan, biometric template, or device passcode.
Any optional device permission is requested only when needed for the feature you choose. You can review or revoke permissions in your device settings, though doing so may disable the related feature.
The App sends no financial data anywhere by default. If you deliberately export a password-protected backup or plain-text CSV, the App creates the file on your device and opens the operating system's share sheet. The destination you select—such as Files, email, messaging, or storage software—is a third-party service governed by its own privacy terms. Review the destination before sharing sensitive information.
Restore is separate from export. The App opens the operating system's file picker and reads only the .xmoney backup you select. The selected backup is processed on your device and is not sent to the developer.
Opening an external link or starting an email leaves the App and is handled by your browser, email provider, and operating system. X Money Wallet does not embed third-party web content in the App.
Your purchase and download are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play under the store's terms. The developer does not receive your full payment-card or store-account credentials. The stores may provide purchase status and aggregated commercial reports needed to distribute the paid App.
If you contact support, you voluntarily provide your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. Google and your email provider process that communication under their own terms. The developer uses it only to respond, troubleshoot, protect against abuse, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Do not email financial records unless they are necessary for your request.
You may ask for a support conversation to be deleted by emailing the address below. A minimal record may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
This is a static information page. The developer does not set advertising, analytics, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies. The page contains no forms, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, external fonts, or embedded third-party media. Selecting the email link opens your own email application.
Basic technical requests may still be processed temporarily by the hosting and network providers that deliver the page, such as an IP address needed to route the request and security logs used to keep the service available. A hosting or CDN provider may also set a strictly necessary cookie for security, bot detection, or abuse prevention. The developer does not use those requests or necessary hosting cookies to profile you or track you across services.
App content remains on your device until you delete individual records, use Delete all data, clear the App's storage, or uninstall the App. Because there is no X Money Wallet account or server copy, there is no remote profile to delete and the developer cannot remotely access, restore, or erase your records.
X Money Wallet uses operating-system protections available to apps, but no storage method is perfectly secure. Keep your device updated, use a strong device passcode, and protect any files you export. You are responsible for retaining any backup you need before deleting the App or changing devices.
X Money Wallet is not directed to children under 13 and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App has no account or data-collection system, it does not request a child's name, age, contact details, or location.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in the App when reasonably required by applicable law.

C / YOUR DATA
Your records are under your control. These actions happen on your device; there is no online account-deletion request to submit.
In X Money Wallet, open Settings → Data & Backup → Export backup. The app opens the system share sheet so you can choose where to save or share the generated file. The selected destination then handles that copy under its own terms.
Open Settings → Data & Backup → Restore backup. The app opens the system file picker; select a .xmoney backup previously created by X Money Wallet, review the on-screen notice, and confirm.
Open Settings → Data & Backup → Delete all data and confirm. This permanently clears the financial records and settings held inside the app on that device.
Uninstalling removes the app and its local app data. Copies you exported or shared elsewhere are not controlled by X Money Wallet and must be deleted from those destinations separately.
